Wow’s new client, Claire’s Accessories.

Yet another success story for Wow, we are hard at work fitting a roll out for this prestigious client. Julian Wyles, Director of Wow said “We have fitted out Claire’s UK Head Office in Birmingham and now have several more jobs in the pipeline all over the country and it is going really well.”
Claire’s Accessories is an American fashion house with a target audience of girls and young women and sells accessories and jewellery. Claire’s sells accessories such as costume jewellery, sterling silver and 14 carat gold earrings, hypoallergenic earrings, hair accessories, wallets, purses, socks, tights, legwarmers, sunglasses, and hats. Claire’s also sells notebooks, pens, and imitation stuffed animals. The stores offer a wide variety of styles in their products, ranging from punk, gothic, and rock chick to pink, glittery, and flowery items. Claire’s merchandise is targeted at the fashion forward teenager, and young adult. Claire’s merchandise directly mimics higher end style trends too.
They started in Chicago in 1961 and as of October 2012, Claire’s has 3,469 stores in 36 countries: 1,947 in North America alone and 1,141 in Europe with nearly 400 franchised stores elsewhere in the world. Their stores are in 95% of all U.S. shopping malls, and Claire’s has done more ear piercings than any other retailer, over 80 million in 25+ years operating a policy of non piercing to under 13’s.
They also have another fashion arm entitled Icing which is a chain that operates just in North America and is aimed at young women in their 20’s and has a more sophisticated element.
