Wow have had a fantastic result recently. Our health and safety officer recently attended a meeting with A S Watson where the snagging rates were announced. Wow were tested to the most stringent capacity and in 32 Key Performance Indicator tests we came out on top with 97%. Director of Wow, John Staveley said “Naturally we are all delighted and will continue to push for the same consistent high standards.”
Competition is higher than ever in this sector and perceptive project management is essential. It can mean many different things to various people involved within the trade. John said “ I have been in this industry for over 25 years now and know that all retailers demand something extra from us.” It starts by paying sharp attention to the costing by Wow’s Q .S. which then ties in with the key components of managing a roll out, specifically juggling priorities with time in co-ordinating materials with key skilled craftsmen. Every part of a roll out demands a level of consistency and embedding that within the team produces consistent results, as demonstrated by Wow’s fantastic KPI result. The other element that Wow can help their clients with is in design. Most retailers that we work with send us detailed CAD design drawings but the design element involves more than just the drawings – it can also involve bespoke joinery. Wow use a company called Benchmark who are based in Letchworth in Hertfordshire. Our clients find it useful as a one point of contact. What makes Wow really stand out in the industry is that it is a cross border player, in taking the role of shop fitting to mean solid project management and elements of store design.
